Katie Dow is an advisor at Aspen Capital Management. She serves clients in holistic wealth management, which includes comprehensive financial planning and low-cost, customized investment solutions. Katie alleviates financial stress by organizing portfolios and optimizing a clear, concise investment strategy with a strong focus on tax efficiency. She cares deeply for her clients and guides them by facilitating thoughtful planning and goal-setting for both the near and long term. While the future is important, she recognizes the voyage matters, too.
Katie is also passionate about working with clients interested in socially responsible and sustainable investing and enjoys stock award optimization, real estate analysis, and wealth preservation and accumulation strategy.
Previously, she spent a decade in the banking industry where she advised a large portfolio of clients and managed diverse teams. Katie was a top achiever, ranking in the top 2% of her peers nationally. In 2019, she was named an “Excellence in Finance Award” recipient by the Idaho Business Review.
Katie earned her Master of Science in Financial Planning and a Graduate Certificate in Financial Therapy from Kansas State University. In addition, she is a Certified Financial Behavior Specialist®, the only professional in Idaho who holds this designation.
As a former collegiate golfer, Katie loves a great round of golf. She also enjoys the arts and is a proud board member of the Idaho Shakespeare Festival. Above all else, family is most important to Katie. She’s married to mountain-biking, joke-telling, ex-University of Montana football star, Colin Dow. They have two beautiful girls, Locksley and Everly, along with their puppy, Gus.
